To create and sustain an organisation which will advocate uniformity, equality of treatment and fairness to all South Africans who are in the process of obtaining their qualifications or have obtained their qualifications at international training facilities.

SAITHPA is a non-profit organization that aims to unite, provide training and support, and represent foreign qualified medical graduates, undergraduates and other health professionals, in their battle for the right to practice medicine in South Africa

Objectives
- To assist and support members to fulfil the requirements, both legal and academic in their application to register for medical practice in South Africa.
- To provide educational and other support, within its means, in preparation of and in anticipation of such examinations, competency tests as needed, by its members, to integrate into the South African Health Care System through work done by its Academic Desk.
- To provide legal support and advice to all members through work done by its Legal Desk
- To collaborate with other organisations in support of and in fulfilment of its main objectives.
